Tiller

Go to Ebay.com and search "Tiller" There's a guy in MO I dealt with; has good deals. You do not have to use ebay; he has a website which will be in the listing.

arms or legs?

Mark: The best source for tillers is H & L Marine in Rancho Domiquez, CA. I do not have their phone number, but you should be able to search the archives for it. These are high quality units (laminated). You also will want to get a cover for the tiller so it stays in good condition. ...and it will not cost an arm or a leg.

Hi Paul, looked in ebay couldn't find the guy in MO. If you happen to have his number or name, I would appreciate you emailing me back.

Item # 2452629809 Guy is actually in Tulsa, (gee that's in Mo isn't it?) his ebay name is ninjasforhire and the store is "Buy From This Guy Yachting" I think these 4foot tillers are all about the same would be curios to know if you get a better deal.

Axe handle!

I'm sure this will get a laugh or two, but a Texan I know out here used an axe handle and it didn't look too bad! Inexpensive, too.

Carry Adze Handle

I heard so many stories about breakage of tillers, that I decided to carry a spare. Quite by accident I was in a True Value Hardware and noticed a adze (sp??)handle. It is similar to an axe except the blade is crossways. It even looked like a tiller, but was slightly smaller. I drilled the two mounting holes and now it is stored on my MAC 23.
