On Lake Minnetonka
Russ,When we had our h-26 in MN, we kept it on Lake Minnetonka at Shorewood Yacht Club. It was a nice place with good facilities, but it was expensive (although, any place on Lake Minnetonka is expensive! Don't be surprised at $5,000/summer) The nice thing about Shorewood was that it was off the beaten path, pretty quiet and a short walk to Excelsior, which is a quaint little lakeside town. The Lake itself was fun to sail, but weekends could get a bit hectic with very large motor boats with little common sense. Shorewood is under new management since I was there, so I can't vouch for them, but they did have good slips. (The pier on the far left, facing the lake, was the best, since the finger slips were wider and more sturdy!)Good luck,Daves/v Wind Dreamer II
