How is the mast step connected to the deck on the C27? I've only had the mast down once for another reason and didn't look at how it was connected. Is it easy to remove? Will be doing core work below it. Thanks for any info you have.

I should add...
When you get the chance if it is not already done, remove the lags, over-drill, fill and with epoxy. Once that has hardened, re-drill for new lag bolts. You might consider tapping for coarse-thread bolts too; less chance of cracking your new epoxy seal with the lag screw.
This assumes no core issues of course.
