Any instruction on removing mast head sheaves. Do you drill them out and rivet new ones in? Any help or links is much appreciated, The mast is down and easy to work on.

I thought the shafts were captive in the masthead die casting, and that it had to be removed to get the shafts out. If that is the case, the easy way is to drill out the rivets holding it in place and remove the unit from the mast. I could be wrong.
If the boat is an American 14.6 daysailor, call American Sail in Charleston, SC and ask for Dave Stanton who can help you. The actual mast comes from Dwyer Aluminum and there are exploded views of the mast and hardware on line.
