Mast raising gin pole

I reworked the pole a bit, shortening the pigtail so the pulley was closer to the top of the 2x4. The winch worked beautifully, and k really like being positioned next to the pole so I can see anything hanging up and stop and adjust it. As expected, if the bridle is positioned correctly the pole didn't have much stress at all, which is why my skimmer pole worked fine until it twisted. Of course, if using a winch you need a stronger pole.

The A frame worked fairly well although I need to rethink the sail track slider. The frame kept the mast very solid and aligned but my slider kept getting stuck in the track at an angle instead of sliding.

I also will be using a small shackle to hook the winch into the bow as using just the hook meant it was in the way when I went to attach the furler/forestay.
