I cannot pump the waste out of my boat because the valve handle is broken with the valve closed. I thought I could pump the waste out through the mascerator and the thru hull hole but I can't find the thru-hole valve or any hole. The guy who sold me the boat says that if I have a mascerator pump I must have a thru-hull flush outlet but I cannot find it. Is he right or could the boat be fitted with the Mac. pump but no flush outlet. Any comments or suggestions appreciated.

waste

My through hull for the mascerator is located to the port side of the salt water intake through hull under the dinette seat that gives access to the engine. I am not sure what valve you have that has a broken handle and is closed. Can you describe it and give a location?

FOLLOW THE HOSES

aS THE FIRST RESPONDER NOTED THE MACERATOR THRU HOLE IS ON THE PORT SIDE UNDER THE DINETTE SEAT. hOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE FOUND THE MACERATOR THERE WILL BE TWO HOSES CONNECTED TO IT. oNE COMES FROM THE HOLDING TANK AND THE OTHER TO SOMEPLACE - USUALLY A THRU-HOLE IN THE HULL.

May have been re-located

Rhet is right, the best thing is to follow the hose from the macerator. My thru-hull was re-located aft of the fuel tank. Why? I don't know.

teed off

I think the hose from the mac is teed into the hose from the whale manual pump in the lazerette
