Majic Catalyst Harder

Has anyone used Majic in topside paint before? I have an issue with boat paint as it drys so quickly for me and leaves brush strokes even when I put additives in it. I'm considering painting my boat with a less costly oil based enamel (Rustoleum) and wondered if Majic drys paint quickly during application, something I don't want. Any anecdotal evidence appreciated!

What kind of boat paint have you been using? What kind of additives have you been using?

Thin the paint with the recommended thinner.

Jamestown Distributors Wet Edge Topside paint - I used paint thinner - looking to now use Rustoleum

Wet Edge is a one part polyurethane paint. The recommended thinner is their Brushing Thinner 100 it probably evaporates more slowly than paint thinner, so the working time is longer.
