Magnum Energy Remote Control Setup

I have recently replaced the remote control on my electrical system with a new Magnum Energy ME-ARC and have a couple of setup queries.
I have a 600AH battery bank using AGM batteries (3 x 200AH).
In the setup for the battery monitor (BMK), at menu item 05B AmpHour Size, I have specified 600 AH, based on the instructions in the manual.
However, in the System Setup, there is a menu item 01D Max Charge. The manual simply says: "This menu setting is the maximum current allowed to charge the batteries during Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Equalize charging; and is provided to limit the charge amps." The manual does not provide any guidance, but I am thinking that this should also be set at 600AH (the size of the battery bank). Can anyone help me out here?
(And apologies for the way that I have expressed this - I am no electrical guru.)

Batteries are Neuton Power NPD 122000 - 12V 200 AH. I'll go looking for a data sheet now. Many thanks.

Keep in mind the higher the charge amps to the battery the higher the A/C amperage required to achieve that.

Generally max charge current for FLA is 10% - 13% of capacity. AGM will be 20% (0.20C) or 40% (0.40C). But yes check with the manufacturer.

Just done a search and cannot find a data sheet for my batteries. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, but I do not understand the responses. The menu item 1D to which I have referred seeks an amount of AH, not a percentage.

As Hello Below said, usually max charge amperage of flooded lead acid batteries is 10% to 13% of capacity. 10% of 600 is 60 amps. 13% is 78 amps.
If your charger puts is a 60 amp charger, your fine.
But let's say you house bank is only 400 amp. 10% is 40 amps. 13% is 48 amps. You would set your max amp limit around 40 to 48 amps.

Or, as Uncledom pointed out, your 60 amp charger pulls a certain amount of AC amps. Maybe your visiting another dock with only 15 amp AC service. You can throttle back your charger so you don't pop the 15 amp shore power breaker.

You have AGMs. Hello Below says they can accept 20% to 40% capacity. 20% is .20 so multiply .20*600 to get you max amp current, or use 40% which is .40. I don't know enough about AGMs to agree or disagree with him about those percentages.
