lubricating marelon valves

Getting ready to launch the boat and trying to think of last minute things to do. Does anyone know if there is a need to lubricate the marelon valves on my thru-hulls, and if so, what do I use? Thanks in advance, Jim

Lube em'

Marelon (SP?) valves are notorious for freezing up & having the handle break off while trying to open. Lube regularly with teflon grease.
