What size wire?
The general rule is the uppers shoould be tensioned at about 15-20% of breaking strength, and lowers 12-15%. Once you find your wire size, the breaking strength of the wire is listed in the West Catalog, or any number of other places. Then the Loos gauge instructions tell you what the gauge should read for the various lbs. of tension level.
