I have a hunter 40 I have owned for 20 years. I was changing the 4d batteries under the aft berth, and accidentally touched the 6. Gauge starter wire to a battery post. Sparks, melted the casing, part of the wire strands. I replace the wire, but I only have DC power on the main panel for a few items now (bilge pump). Everything else is off - no lights, water pressure, starter, etc. I am assuming I blew a fuse, but for the life of me I can't find it to. The panel has several small fuses, but those are just for the bilge and deep freeze, and they work.
Does anybody know where I might find the main DC fuse? I have never had a reason to find it before. I have tried the main DC switch on the panel, but it doesn't help.
