Leaky ports

I see many questions and answers pertaining to leaky ports (as leaks where the port frame is bedded to the hull). The ports on my 1992 hull #6122 C30 leak between the glass and the rubber that contacts the glass when closed. If I put doubled up paper between the turn-latch and the glass the leak stops. The turn latches might be worn or the rubber seal needs replacing. I have not found supplies pertaining to this problem or how it might be fixed. Any answers? Thanks Ron Toews captonron@msn.com

this may help

you may have already tried this, but sometimes just a good cleaning followed by application of silicone grease will stop leaks. rt

New Seals

The portlight in the head of my C270 is a Beckson (different than the ports in cabin) and I just replaced lens & rubber seal. Ordered direct from http://www.beckson.com/replace.html ~$25 for the lens & $5.95 for rubber seal.
