Leaky Ice/Box Cooler

I have a 1979 27' S2 and when we use the cooler the area around the steps get wet. Any ideas?

just a hunch ...sounds like your drain hose is broken or disconected...i have a 9.2 (30 footer) and the drain hose is located in that area and drains to the bilge ...so i would start looking there first ......one other thought heven forbid your box bottom or side may be broken ...but ck the hose thing first...hope this helps

I have the same problem. Can the hose be checked by unscrewing the hose fitting from inside the box? There is no access to the underside if the box
