I purchased a 1985 catalina 30 in december. The survey discovered a small amount of moisture next to a chip in the aft end of the rudder . Last week I took a ride to check on it and it seemed water and or rust had come out of this small chip and ran down the edge of the rudder. My question, is this a big problem ? What will it take to fix? and What could it cost to fix?
