When running under engine power (M-25 diesel w/ Hurth transmission)on a very windy day, it seemed to be loosing power until finally it was necessary to tie up at a local dock under almost no power. Once at the dock on a calm day it was possible to motor forward and backwards using the slack in the lines. Engine revolutions were normal, the shaft was turning and the shift adjustment was as per the manual.Questions:(1) What is the most likely cause of the problem - propeller or transmission?(2) On this boat is there a pin and key to secure the propeller? Can the propeller slip?(3) Can the transmission slip under load? Is it common? How critical is the transmission level (I haven't checked it for some time - hard to get to)? Thanks,
