KM4A transmission on yanmar 80hp

I bought the pdf for the engine and the transmission installation manuals but it doesn't mention where the houses for the transmission cooler need to be connected!

I would suggest you consult a Yanmar dealer in your area if it's not shown in the drawings. This could be something requiring a connection and your not supplying a connection "may" be of some concern.

Just out of curiosity, take a screen shot of the engine drawings (from your .pdf) where the two cooling connection points are shown on the engine. This may give a clue or maybe not ......

Thanks, I spoke with the dealer and I found out the transmission was from the previews used engine so the water pump was connected with the engine but on the new bobtail I need to figure out and attach it to the heat exchange from the new engine.

That's a tough call. I would suspect the oil cooler is in series with engine heat exchanger but is it before or after ? That's the big question here. Getting the order reversed could cause problems for one system or the other.

Didn't the dealer give you any indication of of the arrangement ?
