Check google and put in fin keel vs wing keel....a few sights. Apparently the fin poins higher.

C320

Fin always points a bit higher. However, if you are not racing, it does not make that much difference. I have a wing keel C320, and prefer the shallower draft of the wing...and I do not race.

It isn't "a bit higher", it's a LOT higher

The fin keel C-320 will point at least 5 degrees higher than the wing keel version, and easily make 10 degrees more to weather than teh wing. This is especially true if you couple the wing with the in-mast furling. Last year, my wife and I sailed the Alchemist (fin keel, standard type main) hard on the wind about 9 miles north of Holland to the next port (Port Sheldon). At the same time (maybe 200 feet ahead of me), another C-320 left Holland going to the same place. When I reached the Port Sheldon, I was within 1/4 mile of the pierhead, while the other C-320 was straight out from me about 1 to 1.5 miles. It took him another 1/2 hour to reach harbor. Depending on how important shallow draft is to you vs sailing ability, you pays yer money and makes yer choice. I chose sailing ability. Steve Alchemist #909

10 Degrees....

...is a stretch. Lot has to do with the furling (as mentioned), the rigging, the sailor, the genoa, the various control lines and more. I'd buy five degrees, but not 10.
