Had a lot of fiberglassing to do. Wanted to make sure there were no keel bolts. Hard to dry out. Drilled a lot of holes. Cement and water still seeping from bottom. Overlaid layers of fiberglass at crack. Not pretty...but didn't want to risk keel dropping further (1/8").
Seems to be holding.Bildge pump doesn't run this season, but there is always 1/2" water in bilge (water seeking its own level). End of season will drill more holes and let dry all winter again.

Yikes! That looks like a hot mess. Glad to hear she is holding out the water (mostly).

I found a small crack on the leading edge of my rudder just before splashing this spring…
I didnt want it to get worse, so did a quick fiberglass repair job on it and I think all is well, but will inspect it carefully for water ingress when I haul out in October…freezing weather can play havoc on our boats.

Good luck with the project.

Thanks Greg. After it was sanded, primed, and painted....it didn't look so bad... but it worked...we must do what we must DO :)
