With a screwdriver. :biggrin:The the screw out slide the hank on, poke a hole for the screw to go through and then tighten it down.
Hold the poker. I'd use a pencil-type solder iron to melt the hole, so as to cauterize the broken threads.

I haven't seen one of those vices in ages. It's got my name on it! You'd think it was a relative but the tool company name is actually named for the street corner at Wilton Ave and Wrightwood in Chicago. Wilton Ave may have been named for a very distant relative.

The vice came from my father-in-law. We were cleaning out the house and it ended up in my truck. ;)

It is a nice vice. Even though your name is on it you can't have it. But if you ask my wife nicely, she may let you have it after I'm gone. :beer:
