I believe the on-line specs on this site are contributed by owners, and some of those numbers aren't always correct.Your hull number should end in a letter, followed by 3 numbers, for example K900. The letter indicates the month built: K = #11, or November, 9 = the year it was built: 1999, and 00 = the model year: 2000.As for the rest of the hull number, HUN is the manufacturer, 29 is the model, (290), 343 is the actual serial number. Hunter starts numbering at 100, so 343 is really the 243rd boat in the line. The whole number for a 290 would look like this: HUN29343K900.
