I need to see a shrinkCasually reading the ads on Sunday I found a super sweet deal on a nearly new H260 from a really good guy for a boat just slightly newer than the boat that we were perfectly happy with. I’m not believing we bought it, without a trailer, at the beginning of Hurricane season and I still have a H240 4-sale in covered storage(see link). What causes such crazy behavior? Two WB boats would make most sailors think I’ve lost it but (rationalizing ahead) we are dealing with a serious deep wtr dock space cost issue in Fl and the boat needs to be portable for dodging storms too. We also needed to be able to escape the reoccurring red tide that has been plaguing us by sailing Florida’s many lakes and bays or drifting some larger rivers. The 260 better fits our big kids including our 14y/o 170lb 6’4” son too, and has a wheel, all nice but what about my growing navy. We’re happy with the new boat even though it’s not rigged as well as our 240, we’ll bring her home next to her little sister the 240 until she sells(see link) and tinker with the 260 here. Hoping for a quiet storm season for the fleet. Here’s a pic of the first day out and a happy Admiral.Have a safe season ~~_/)~~Michael and KelliS/V’s 240/260 Bonafide
