ISO: Hunter 28 Mast

Hello,
I have a 1992 Hunter 28 the top few feet of the mast was damaged in a storm as well as one spreader bracket broke. I’m looking for a suitable replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ouch!! Have you checked used mast suppliers and new spar manufacturers like rigrite, us spar, dwyer, etc.? Provode them your mast and spreader dimensions.

if you have some used mast suppliers in mind I’ll def check it out. Already got a quote for a new one from US Spar (makers of the original) just throwing up a Hail Mary hoping there’s something used I could pick up somewhat conveniently and cheaper. thanks for the info

A lower cost option is to remove the mast, cut out the damaged section and replace it with a new section with sleeve and rivets. Source mast section from a spar manufacturer like Rig Rite Rig-Rite Inc. - Masts, Booms, Spars, Rigging, and Hardware for Sailboats. (rigrite.com)
