I was talking with a rigger about waxing the
non-skid. He said, "Absoulutly" . I gave it a try. I applied it with a wax machine, No Problem. Then I went to remove it with the machine, Problem. I had to remove it by hand, but it was worth it. I love it when I can just rinse down the boat and all those stains just rinse off. I did notice that it was a LITTLE more slippery at all times, but that is what the hand rails and life lines are for. Make sure you do it early in the morning before the sun has time to bake it in. GOOD LUCK!!! P.S. I am just a weekend cruiser and some old salties might disagree.
