I guess I should point out that this is a portable generator. My intent isn't to run it in the locker, but rather to pull it out and sit it on deck when I needed it, plugged into my shore power connection.

Got it. Was talking to a guy the other day about generators and he mentioned he had one of those honda 2000 units mounted in a lazarette, proudly noting his safety consciousness where-in he piped the exhaust with high temp hose up and out. Asked him about the gasoline vapor - he said he never had a problem with odor! Note to self: Need to inspect the dock neighbors.
