I hooked up a disposable 1 lb. tank to test out this propane conversion alcohol stove. IT looks fine if I am going to roast a whole pig.

Hermit all propane stoves or any appliance will have a regulator for proper pressure 11"-14" inches water colume = 6oz pressure . Working gas pressure best to have 12" wc when all appliances are off and 11" flow wnen appliances are on. All propane stoves must have a burner orfice,an average burner is between 10,000 to 15,000 btu the orfice size would be a #63 drill bit for 9,563 btu. which is about the size of a commin pin. hope this can be of some help. It's time for you to go buy an Origo. You'll love it. Don't lose your boat fooling around with pressurize alcohol or explosive gases.
Scott, Outstanding ! Here in Louisiana, there would be a big pot of crawfish on that !! I don't think that should be on a boat, however! Like Roger says, you'll love the Origo when ya get one.. I used one last year on a friend's boat and found it to be a great stove.. my normal one is propane.. so I really didn't think I'd like the Origo.. but it worked fine..
