Invest 99 L is still not even organized. It will track over the Bahamas and into South Florida at probably ±40 mph winds and maybe 6" rain at worst spots. The waters temperature on this track is 1° above average (not too high for intensifying)
This is solely my Prediction ahead of news... Take it as you wish
99L is running into the southern edge of a High pressure front, now over North FL.
This is another "punch in the face" of an already punch drunk storm.
So by Late Saturday and early Sunday South FL will see 99L. As it passes the High, it should turn in behind that High and head up the east coast as a weak storm.
The upper air steering current are trying to push 99L into the Gulf. So it may swing more over Central FL as 99L dies.
Jim...
PS:Gaston is dying as predicted in Mid Atlantic (Which should be the trend for most African born storms this season). The storm is soon going hit the same High as mentioned above, which will push it more N and East.
