BillIf you are comfortable with your current charger, a separate inverter is a good choice. Just be sure when you install it that you have a switch that can Only allow EITHER shorepowerOR inverter power to be on at one time. If you do it yourself look for a Blue Seas 8032 (or 8132) switch (the parts numbers are the same model, just different amperages).If you don't like your current OEM charger consider a combination inverter charger. You avoid having to install the switch ($150), get automatic switchover from shorepower, and a much larger charger.Do the $-math on the different approaches.Trevor's right, too, about a BIG house bank.
