I need to replace all the interrior cushons and carpeting in my 1977 boat and was wondering if there is a replacement kit or a recommended vendor?

Call a furniture upholsterer

You can get bids from "marine" upholsterers but you'll probably find "normal" ones are gonna be cheaper. I don't know about kits but if you have a heavy duty sewing machine, you can give it a go on your own. I wouldn't, personally, cuz I'd make a mess of it!!! Carpeting is pretty easy. Take your current carpet, buy some you like, cut it out & take it to a rug company that will edge it for you. I have no clue what they'll charge but it'll be cheaper than buying a custom cut carpet. Try Catalina

I haven't done this but I know people who have ordered new cushions and carpet direct from Catalina. Provided you're near a dealer and not in a big hurry, the shipping is even free -- they throw them into the next new boat to be delivered to your area. On a '77 boat you may be unable to do that because if they've changed the interior, the current off-the-shelf cushions may not fit right. My take is that the factory-supplied cushions quality falls a little short, but the price is right.

Upgrade Your Foam

I used a local shop. I also spent a little extra and got extra firm foam which was well worth the small additional cost. The difference is amazing.

Just did both

I just replaced both & here are some lessons learned: -Replace the foam (smells new & is MUCH more comfy, but pricey) -Have the cushion spaces measured (the existing cushions deform & don't make good templates for new ones) -Use a regulal upholsterer, even mattress factory (Marine means "add 30%") -Use thicker foam in the V-berth & quarter berth (discuss using one piece in the berths instead of two split, more comfy without the seam in the middle) -Buy a carpet remnant (yes they come that big) at half price & use the old one as a template to cut your own. -Use a special "trim glue" on the edges instead of having it stitched (way cheaper than paying $2 per foot) Good Luck!

Carpet and Cushions

Mark: You can save a lot of money by using your existing carpet as a pattern to cut new piece for a remnant. Check out Canvas & Cushions on W. Queens Way in downtown Hampton. The owner Jo Bostic made us a dodger, bimini, and transition piece last spring. We were well pleased with her work. She comes well recommended if you want quality, custom work. I have seen some of the "off the shelf" production jobs that I would not have at any price. Good luck and fair winds.
