I might need JCII's input on this one. As I look at various photos of the Hunter 30 from early 74 up through 79, I notice a strange phenomenon (sp?): Why do two boats that are both considered 1978 Hunter 30s, each have a different number of opening portlights? Ours has three forward of the fixed port (salon, hallway, V on starboard and salon, head and V on port).Then, I've seen photos of 1978 Hunter 30s with just two (2) opening portlights ... where did the third one come from? If some of the 30s only have two, where are they located? When did this (seemingly significant) modification take place?
