Hello DAG Stew,

Check for a brand name on the ports or the frames. Might be Beckson. If they are Beckson just search Beckson Ports and buy from the company or check this site. Size information will include "glass" size (perhaps lite size), cut out size, and overall size (includes the frame). Gaskets, screens, "glass" are also available seperately if you only need parts. If you only buy parts remove the old ports and recaulk the frames anyway. Use care removing them and save the parts until the repair is complete.

Best Wishes

NOTE: I did edit my original post. I had written "Bomar" by mistake for the brand name.

The PO replaced all of the opening ports on my Oday. I don't know what the originals were but the new ones are Becksons. See link: http://www.beckson.com/ports.html

For an inexpensive plastic port, they are well made and don't leak as long as you keep the gaskets clean.

I have a 32 oday 1978 and i bought mine from West Marine. If you go to their web site and follow the measuring instructions it is pretty easy. Also, I used Dap Bathroom chaulk and it worked out well.

They should be beckson 5x12's - the white frame/clear glass version is P/N BEC-PO512DWC20 (substitute the W for B for black frame, and C for S for smoked glass). Agree w/ Sailvayu - use a proper bedding material like boatlife, etc - for a few $ it's not worth risking any water incursion and ultimately delamination.

Another anti (DAP bathroom calk) vote. In fact you should not use Dow 795 or silicone for this job. That is for sealing a fixed port. One you can't open and you just mount the lens over the opening. Silicone will not attack the lens.
You are mounting complete units so the sealant will not come in contact with the lens. This is where boat life calk and other more aggressive goo's comes in. It's much tougher and aggressive and it's seal will be broken.
Simple rule: use silicone and only silicone in contact with any lens and stay out of home depot.

good luck
