Alden Mistral 981-A is now named "Carmina", based in Seattle/ WA/ USA. I have done significant refurbishment and upgrading and can elaborate if anyone seems interested.

I realize I'm late to this conversation (and just joined the site after searching for information about this Mistral 36), but I believe I have sailed on @Fineline's boat. That would be design number 981-H, originally "Vedra K" that was moored in Sunderland, UK until purchased by a friend of mine in 1975 to sail in the 1976 OSTAR race. He had it in Halifax, NS until he sold it on (I'm not sure when that was). The attached image was taken by me in 1977 before 4 of us sailed the boat back to the UK. The owner then brought it back across the Atlantic to Canada in 1978 or 1979.
