I recently purchased a ice box hold open from Catalina Direct prt# Z4237 it had been used on the Catalina 350. I tried it on my 310 and it is too long. Would love to hear some suggestions on what other 310 owners have used.

Thanks,
Mark

I should have been a little more specific it is whatever you use to hold open the ice box lid and I know your left or right hand will work fine.

Can you move the attachment points so the spring fits? I am just guessing, as I don’t have a Catalina. But I did buy a spring thing to keep mine open, and I assume I just set the attachment points on the lid and the box at the appropriate distance to accommodate the spring?

Or does your Catalina use some other kind of device?

Don't know where the Catalina 350 came from but as Greg has said, why not re-position the lower plate and seal off any unused holes :

I purchased these on Catalina direct and installed them on the fridge and dry storage lid. They work well and were a great addition.

I have wanted these supports for a long time, could never find them or saw them and had no way of knowing if they would fit. Would you have a part # from CD?
I see you mounted them differently (opposite directions), what was the reason?
Also, the insulation on the fridge lid, does it make a difference?
Sorry for all the questions, but these look like easy upgrades.
thanks
Cheers

Looks like the angles of the mounting brackets are different, may need an additional bracket to make these work.

I actually would love a better picture of that towel holder location and mount:)
See attached the key is having the shelf where we store drinkware. I thought that was a standard item but have since learned it is not.20230412_081848.jpg20230412_081544.jpg20230412_081524.jpg

No, I've never seen that before on any 310, we have 3 310 and a 315 in our marina. Looks good for sure, but too much of a project for my use if the boat. If I can make my retirement plans work in 5-6 years maybe then lol.

Ours came from the factory with that shelf. Yet another one-off for hull #1
