Rob Hessenius's "Slip Trespassers". What's worse than finding a truck in your slip? Somebody abandoned their boat in the parking lot at MDR today.

I think it was done on purpose.

Here is why. I recently rented one of those steel boxy dumpsters, the kind the truck picks up by it's front and flings it over its back. Well my house is in the country and the drive is about 200 feet long. They placed the dumpster by the road while I was gone and so, what happened was. I had to carry everything that long distance away from the house, Broken rakes, defunct weed wackers, old TV, Stereos, couple broken tables, a wobbly ironing board and the contents of 30 years of hanging on to pure JUNK. The Dumpster was over flowing after a week. It took about a week for them to come and take it away. However as the days went by, the dumpster became less and less full, and by the time it was picked up, it was only half full.......................So My guess is that boat had a trailer and a motor (of Value ) so the boat was towed to a parking lot near where there are boating people and left for the taking.

I dont think he abandoned the boat at all. He is probably at home waiting for an answer to his question about which product is better, polyglow vs vertaglass. On www.crapybowtownirs.com He asked that simple question and 40 people responded, but no one has answered his question. The thread has is trying to figure out the realative viscosity of the products in a absolute zero enviroment related to being suspended in a zero gravity, surrounded by a sub matter. After this is figured out someone will tell the guy what he wants to hear, but in the meantime its down at the harbor. r

What it really is!

I don't know about everyone else, but I am always on the boat fixing something when I realize that the part I need is still at the store. This guy just has a better idea. He does his project work right in front of the store. Saves time, money, and all the trips back and forth. Hmmm, now which parking lot did I leave my boat in.
