Irene will be here on Sunday. I went out this afternoon and started taping up openings. I taped the cover on the compass. I taped the vents. I had to deal with the hole in the pop-top that the mast goes through. I taped a garbage bag over it and covered it with tape. I taped the lazerette covers closed (one has no latch nor hinges).
After a short, last sail befoe the storm, I finished up.
I removed the genoa from the furler and the main sail. I removed the pennant halyards. Flags are fun, but not crucial. I tightened all halyards. I checked my mooring pennant and reseated the chafe guards.
Come on Irene.
