Several times a year, I will come across a question pertinent to my Hunter that no matter how much searching I do on the internet nor this forum the answer cannot be found. I then turn, reluctantly because I know he is very busy, to the one person that will have the answer. Today was one of those times. And indeed, almost instantaneously as usual, the reply to the question came back. But this time there was an added bit of news that somewhat set me astern to ponder. The news:
"Also…as an fyi…I will be leaving Marlow-Hunter shortly. It is now time to do some fishing and enjoy the grand kids. It has been a pleasure working with you and I wish you the very best."
I have met this class guy only once; but, when I did I immediately knew that he was the glue to his company and one guy that I sure would like to have on my team. We, as sailors, continuously complain about maintaining a single vessel. He supported thousands and did through some pretty tough times but without complaint.
Happy retirement to you, Eddie Breeden, I wish you the best because you are the very best.

PS I still owe you a toque.
