On my 1997 h40.5, there is a freezer drain that empties to the bottom of the refrigerator and a drain from the refrigerator to the bilge. I put a cork into each hole to stop cold air from passing out of the boxes into the bilge. I just pull the corks whenever there is a noticeable accumulation of water.

Is it not apparent in looking? Shouldn’t be too difficult to find and/or feel even in the dark.
If not, someone might have plugged it and or removed the drain hose over the last 25 years. Those “moister” hoses are hard to see:)

I use just a face cloth that gets wet and drips water into the bilge.

Prevents back flow of air and passes the condensate.

End of sail, the Admiral uses the face cloth to clean Fridge.

Ok, this is an interesting question
Hunter did, in fact, put a drain hose in the freezer compartment
But, they actually looped it upwards, making draining of stagnant water in it difficult
And, it drained into the bilge.
I found the loop, and made it a straight drain.
The problem with that was that the bilge started to stink from food runoff.
So, I installed a sump box system which made it a closed system
I was able to then clean the fridge/ freezer, and dump soapy water in which would flush overboard.
I did a T fitting on the sink drain, which was how I exited the waste water.
I didn’t have any issues with cold air escaping, as the drain hose always sat in a small puddle in the bottom of the sump box.
I know this sounds a bit complex, but it gave me a way of always cleaning out the fridge , and not having a stinky bilge as a result
