I faced same choice
I looked at both the B 360 and H356, and decided on the Hunter. Overall the Hunter is roomier and has a better lay out for my use.I did not do a sea trial with the B, but the Hunter is a dream in close quarters, ie: docking and backing into slips, which is my preferred way to put her in for the night. The sugar scoop transom allows for very easy access from the dock.As far as downwind performance, I had concerns with the B&R rig at first. It's a cosmic coincidence that no matter what direction I intend to sail, I'm either into the wind, and directly a beam. I have yet to worry about going directly downwind. Besides, you'll sail faster if you run off at an angle. We are very happy with our choice. The 356 is just enough boat for my wife and I to be comfortable, and yet I can single hand if needed.Good luck, and give me a jingle when you decide.mark.millham@jaber.af.mil
