Hello all,
Last weekend I completed the replacement of the outboard cables on my Hunter 260 with a Edson Pedestal.
There is no access panel on my boat, so this was a very difficult process that involved inventing a few new cuss words.
During the second cable install, I bent the metal sheath that surround the cable. I was able to get it functional with just a little bit of extra friction.
Has anyone remove the section that the pedestal attached to to get access to the underside of the pedestal? I'm wondering if that might have been easier/faster than what I did to get the cable through the pedestal base.
Thoughts?
