That can have a double meaning. Sorry, I couldnt resistWood in the shower is okay to get wet. Dry if off when done. NB
A saltwater wash and fresh water rinse on the swim platform works well in less crowded anchorages. If someone needs binoculars to see you, then it is their problem not yours. The few times I have used a wet head, I just did not worry about the wood getting wet, and in none of the cases did rot immediately set in or the boat sink. Most boat interior wood is varnished or latex painted (it may be clear, but it's still paint), and is pretty waterproof. My main problem is hitting elbows on cabinets and getting the toilet paper wet. Personally, I'd rather shower on the swim platform or on deck, but I'm not particularly shy at my age.![]()

Our head is relatively small also but with 2 light weight shower curtains hooked to the outer perimeter of the wall at the ceiling I find there is ample room. The curtains drap over the sink vanity and toilet, rather than hanging straight down, to give the extra room. Roll the curtains up, hang on the life lines and they dry in minutes. There's a shower curtain track on the ceiling of the head, probably 20" square. That's not feasible. What do you do?
Feasible. Just not what you are used to.There's a shower curtain track on the ceiling of the head, probably 20" square. That's not feasible. What do you do?
