Hi, I did open my rudder to remove wet foam core and before pouring new foam in, I want to make sure that the fiberglass / gelcoat will be perfectly dry. Rudder is indoor at 18-20 celcius for one month and still humid according to grp33; any trick to dry the core?

Easy sqeezy....drap plastic tarp over it and put a portable dehumidifier in the resulting tent. Will dry out an ocean.

Try a heat lamp, the boatyard here uses heat lamps aimed at parts of the hull (after gel coat peeled) to dry out wet sections . Seems to work and that is outdoors.

Heat lamp is a good idea! Do you if an electric heater oriented on the rudder could do the same?
Deshumidifier sounds good too but I dont own one!
