Something seems to be going on here. After 14 years of this forum the sensitivity of the moderators seems to be drastically increasing as well as the number of moderators. I don't think I could keep my M25 running without Stu around to encourage me to implement all the critical safety upgrades. Welcome back Stu, lay low for a while and see how this conspiracy plays out. :>)
Same number of moderators as there have always been.. Brian, myself, Scott and Phil.. Sensitivity is the same as far as I know, at least from my perspective.
I think there has been some bleed over from the vitriol in off topic sections and we've had some folks just try to push the limits out in the main forums.

members here and not the admins and mods.
Keep in mind that when other sailing forums ban a member, for the same reasons we would, they often wind up on our door step with the same attitude. They usually wind up in the same boats as the forum they were just kicked out of. We have had a few of these...
We simply can't read every post so much of these forums are self policing via the report post icon
.. If I had to shoot from the hip I'd have to say it is the other members who are the ones getting more sensitive. Perhaps though it is that they have finally discovered the report post feature actually works and we do follow up on them. This is not SA or CF or SN. These forums are a 100% be nice zone and always have been...
We provide areas for politics (War Room) and off topic (Sails Call) and we expect the lee way in
attitudes we sometimes allow in those forums to remain there.
