Hot Water heater tank, but only cold coming from faucet

You might look for one of these anti scald valves that mix cold with hot and adjusts temperature.

Many use this is small sailboat spaces.

On my boat the engine heats the water also. So there may be another line on the Hot side.

that's what the two silver nipples are for - in and out cooling water from the engine - it goes thru the water tank to heat the water while the engine is running. That's why a lot of us installed tempering valves - the engine heated water can get up to close to 180 degrees and stay really hot for a long time

Hunter used a Watts thermostatic mix in valve on my 06 33. There is a plastic screen on the input to the valve from the hot water connection. It is accessible by removing the valve at the coupling nut. The screen gets clogged with calcium deposits and restricts the hot water input into the valve. Remove the valve and clean the screen and this should resolve your issue, assuming that you boat is equipped with the mixing valve.
