SCAD is the top rated water and holding tank level monitor...sensor attaches to the outside of any tank material except metal. I especially like that it provides an infinite tank level reading instead of the typical 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full. Reasonably priced, available from a number of retailers and easy to install.

@Peggie Hall HeadMistress, do you know the best method to calibrate the Scad sensor for Full? I manually filled the tank to what seemed to be the old float sensor Full position, which ended up being ~1” from the top of my 2’x2’x1’ tall tank. I’m worried that it might be so full as to risk fouling the vent when heeling under sail, but it does seem to be the same level as the old float sensor.
