high temp alarm "chirping" and light flickering

This last Sunday my high temp alarm started chirping and the light flickering, but the temp gauge shows norm engine heat range. I checked the wiring at the control unit and everything seems ok. I sprayed all the contacts with Boeshield T-9 and everything seemed fine, until we went out again yesterday and the "Chirping" sound was back. Our boat was struck by lighting 3 years ago and we have fixed everything that was fried I hope. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any suggestions on resolving would be appreciated. Bob

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

I'll call Catalina for a replacement sensor and check it out. Bob
