Let me start by saying hi to everyone, HI:dance:. I'm new and also in the process of buying a 1984 catalina 27. Well my first question is, how much bottom paint should i buy? Any one have any idea how many sq ft the catalina 27 has under her water line? She has been on the hard for 3 years and the paint is starting to chip off easy in spots... Should i just chip what comes off off and paint? or should i sand it down and follow the steps given here http://www.boatus.com/boattech/BottomLine.htm...
