Help! Frozen Bolt - Elbow

I have a Westerbeke 21. I'm wondering what the mechanism is that turns the shaft on the engine side is and if it has been affected by the wobble and water intrusion?

Axel, go to www.marinedieseldirect.com and find your engine and all the exploded diagrams of the guts. It'll show you what's inside and how it works. What pump? Sherwood or Oberdorfer?

Not sure what you mean by which pump? The current revision raw water pump for the W21 is made by Johnson (48080) or 37431 which is a kit with hose attachments.

The Universal engines came with either Sherwood or Oberdorfer pumps. I've seen a few Westerbekes, but am not that fmailiar with your rw pump. Good luck.
