I broke the fuel bleed screw (the one on the injector housing) and cannot find a replacement. Toad marine (torresen marine) sent me one that is too big and cannot find a smaller one.

Any thoughts? I stopped by a kabota tractor dealer and they could not help me.

Any other online sources?

Hmm, I really, really, really want to know HOW you managed to do that.

Then I'll tell you the answer...:):):)

Naw, I'll fess up. It's a screw, right? If you have even a small part of it left, take it to a local machine shop and I'll bet they can give you a replacement.

Good luck.

PS - Please, how did you break it?

I had air (at least I thought I did, might not have been getting enough fuel either) in the system, engine was shacking violently and I had a socket on the bleed screw trying to bleed it......unscrewed it a little with the socket while engine shaking and "snap", it broke in half :cussing:

Crap, Universal says they are a good 6 weeks from seeing the 301749 bleed screw.

Back to square one. Anyone have thoughts on where to source one?

If you have the size and lenght you might try a motorcycle shop. Take yours and match the thread with what they have.

Update: I used a normal screw from lowes that fit. Ran the engine for an hour yesterday with no apperant issue. I will replace it once the bleed screw is off back order.
