I have an Oday with a Universal Diesel motor and recent purchase. attempted to start the motor and when i did the impeller in the pump was sucking the water out of the bucket but when i looked closer one end of the water/antifreeze manifold/heat exchanger had blown off the left side end looking in from the engine access panel looking aft! Can this be fixed or soldered or do i need to buy one? where would i find one such part?

Is it a cylindrical heat exchanger? If so this may be what you need. The end caps do crack some times but I'm not sure what you mean by blown off. It would help if you tried to identify your engine.
