Heat exchanger cleaning

I have removed the heat exchanger from my Yanmar 3QM30 and need to get the core cleaned. Can anyone suggest a shop in the San Francisco East Bay area?

is that a QM or GM heatexchanger... if GM you can clean it your self by roding out the flews like you would a 22 rifle dont know about the QM.....

Hi there, I just removed the heat exchanger from my Westerbeke W13. I'd like to go the chemical descaling route. Had anyone used the commercially available products like Barnacle Buster or Rydlyme? If so, what is the exact process? Does the stuff have to be pumped through the core under pressure, or can it simply be poured in through the raw and fresh water ports and allowed to soak, with the exchanger being turned once or twice to get the stuff through all the tubes?

A radiator repair shop will handle the job. Either just boil or acid-wash it.

Any radiator or machine shop. They will also pressure test it.
