Hatch Question

Catalina 36 mkII Havre de Grace, Maryland
I recently took my forward hatch to have it sanded, painted, and lexan replaced. I reinstalled, but a month later the lexan easily popped out of the hatch frame. What material/goop should the lexan be bedded in? The boat resides at the top of the Chesapeake (winter/summer seasons).
Thanks in advance!

They recommend Dow Corning 795

DC 795 is great for that application. Meticulous cleaning and surface preparation is necessary for the 795 to bond to the frame and acrylic.
I did all 4 of mine a couple of years ago; a good masking tape job is essential for a good finish
